Online Play / Membership
We have a “virtual clubhouse” on the Discord platform and play on the lichess.org server. Club activities including players linking up for play both virtually on Lichess and over the board, announcements, and interaction occur through Discord.
Being a member… Join in during our activities. Help us run stuff. That makes you a member! No dues, although some things like tournaments may have a fee and we ask you support the places that host us. Now press the Easy button!
To join us email us at bloomingtonnormalchess@gmail.com. In a nutshell we need to confirm you’re a “local(ish)” player via email, then we’ll send you a link to Discord and have you join our online Team on Lichess.
